A primary "Create Purchase Order" button opens the order without leaving the project context, with the Q keyboard shortcut.
Analytic taken from the project
The new order already carries the analytic account of the project: the buyer has nothing to look up or key in.
Automatic 100% distribution
Every product line created on the order is charged in full to the project account, with no manual step.
Your manual choices respected
A distribution already filled in on a line is kept. Section and note lines receive no analytic distribution.
Reliable saving
The analytic account and the line distribution are always saved with the order, even when they are hidden on screen.
Access limited to buyers
The button only shows for users of the purchase group, which prevents orders being created by profiles without purchase rights.
How it works
Install the module
Drop it in your addons and install it. The Project and Purchase apps are installed with it if needed.
Check the analytic account
Make sure each project concerned has its analytic account. It is the only prerequisite and no setting has to be changed.
Open an order
From the project form, click "Create Purchase Order": the form opens with the analytic account already set.
Enter vendor and lines
Pick the vendor and add your products. Each line is charged 100% to the project as soon as it is created.
Confirm as usual
Confirm the order and handle the receipt your usual way. The analytic data follows the accounting entries generated by standard Odoo.

Yes. Without an analytic account on the project, the order opens with no charge and no distribution is forced on the lines.
