Odoo integrator: what we actually do

An Odoo integrator doesn't sell software: it turns your organisation into a configuration that lasts.

ANOR, a consulting firm and Odoo integrator, covers the full Odoo roll-out cycle with 63 years of Odoo combined across its partners: process scoping, Odoo configuration, data migration, team training, go-live, then long-term support and application maintenance. Our Odoo consultants are certified and follow one constant rule: adapt the process before customising the tool. That is what makes our projects upgradable from one version to the next without accumulated debt.

Book 30 minutes

How long does an Odoo implementation take?

Duration depends on the scope of the first batch, the quality of your data and the availability of your key users. We prefer a short first batch that gets used to a full scope that never lands: later batches are added once the teams have settled into their habits.

The licence is separate from the implementation cost. Odoo offers the "Custom" plan: €35.90 per user per month for the first year, then €44.90 from the second year, with all applications, multi-company and external APIs. The implementation cost depends on your scope: we quote it after a discussion, not before.

The six phases of an Odoo roll-out, from scoping to go-live

1

Scoping

Your real processes are described, the implementation options set out with their limits and the scope of the first batch agreed in writing.

2

Configuration

Configuration within the standard, in short sprints, with a demonstration at each iteration rather than a single delivery at the end of the project.

3

Data migration

Partners, products, stock, outstanding balances and an arbitrated history. It is the most underestimated phase and the most decisive for the teams' confidence.

4

Acceptance testing

Your users replay their own processes on their own data. Nothing goes live without their formal sign-off.

5

Training

By job role, on the configured tool, not on a generic demonstration. You keep the materials.

6

Go-live and follow-up

Switchover on a cut-off date, reinforced presence during the first days, then a support contract and monitoring of version upgrades.

Our method: standard first, custom last

Every customisation will have to be carried over at each version upgrade. So we look for the answer first in standard Odoo, then in configuration and we only develop what remains, after a written specification that you approve.

  • A written batch 1 scope that is binding during the project.
  • Demonstrations at each iteration, on your data.
  • Written deliverables: configuration, procedures, specifications.
  • Custom code, when needed, that belongs to you.

If your processes are unclear even before talking about tools, a process review can be the first phase of the project. If you are replacing an ERP in production, see our approach to migrating to Odoo.

Consulting before implementation: scoping, project owner assistance and a free audit

An Odoo integrator that is also a consulting firm starts with the organisational question, not with the tool. Before any commitment, we offer a free on-site audit of your situation: the state of your processes, data and current tools, followed by a written opinion on the starting scope. For a project already framed elsewhere, we also act as project owner assistance: writing the ERP requirements, steering the project and supporting your teams through the change.

What the job of an Odoo integrator really covers

Implementing Odoo goes well beyond "install and configure". The job is played out on three fronts that our Odoo consultants hold together: understanding your business, keeping your information system consistent and rolling out to your teams, site after site.

The Odoo consultant: reading both the business and the tool

Knowing Odoo is not enough. Our consultants know the constraints of B2B trading, the demands of multichannel retail, job-by-job profitability in service companies and the flows of a workshop. This dual reading produces an Odoo your teams use, rather than one they work around from day one.

  • Configuration of the standard apps, demonstrated on your own data.
  • A written decision between configuration, custom development and reorganising a process.
  • Audit of an existing configuration and rescue of a project already under way.
  • Every technical decision is documented and explicit: you know why a choice was made.

Interfaces with your information system

Odoo rarely lives alone. We connect it to your online shop and marketplaces, to a WMS or logistics provider, to your carriers, to a BI tool, to a customer or supplier EDI and to your business applications through the API. Our principle: a simple interface that lasts beats a sophisticated one that breaks at the first version upgrade.

Rolling out across several sites

For a multi-site company we roll out in waves: a pilot site, a validated configuration template, then the other sites in batches. Each site keeps the specifics it needs, the whole group shares one master data set and one multi-company accounting. Operations continue throughout the roll-out.

Frequently asked questions about Odoo implementation

The vendor develops and distributes the software. The integrator adapts it to your company: it analyses your processes, configures the applications, migrates your data, trains your teams and provides follow-up after go-live.

An Odoo partner is an integrator listed by the vendor, which resells Odoo Enterprise licences and employs certified consultants. ANOR is both. A partner for the licence, at Odoo's price of €35.90 per user per month for the first year, then €44.90 from the second year. An integrator for configuration, data migration, training and support.

The cost adds up a licence that is identical for every user and an implementation service that depends on the scope: number of flows, data quality, interfaces, training. We quote it after the situation audit, never from a simple user count. Our guide on the cost of Odoo details each item.

The standard covers most needs when it is properly configured. We only develop what remains and we tell you frankly when a request can be handled without code.

A sponsor who makes decisions and one key user per functional area. They validate the configuration, replay their processes at acceptance testing and then train their colleagues.

We stay closely involved during the first days of operation, then a support contract takes over: assistance, bug fixing and monitoring of version upgrades.

Yes. The team works throughout France. We travel on site on request, for a scoping workshop or a training session for example.

As soon as the project touches several teams or several flows: sales and invoicing, purchase, receipt and payment, stock, production. And as soon as an existing tool has to be interfaced. The earlier the scoping, the less mistakes cost later.

With a short, written first-batch scope, demonstrations at each iteration and a go-live date set from the start. A batch in use beats a full scope that never lands: extensions come afterwards, based on your teams' real feedback.

Yes. We proceed in waves: a pilot site, a configuration template, then the other sites in batches. The group shares a single master data set and multi-company accounting, with each site keeping its useful particularities.
