You sell products for adults only and a simple Yes or No window proves nothing. You need a check that the server really enforces and a controlled trail of the data collected.

Check enforced by the server
The server validates the date and computes the age before opening pages, products and categories flagged as adult.
Images hidden from visitors
Thumbnails and images of adult products and categories are swapped for a neutral picture until the check is passed.
Signed cookie and anti-abuse
A signed cookie keeps the outcome. A refused minor cannot retry and attempts are rate limited per session.
Protected buying journey
Optionally the cart, address and payment steps require the check whenever an adult product is in the basket.
Fully configurable GDPR
One retention period per data type, minimized log, scheduled purge, access and erasure rights plus a translatable notice.
Log of every check
Each check is recorded without any IP address and stays readable, read-only, by authorized managers.
How it works
Turn on the message
In the website settings tick Popup Message then choose the title, text, image and pages concerned.
Flag adult content
Tick Adult product on the product form or on the shop category. Sub-categories follow.
Choose mode and age
Switch to Date of birth mode then set the minimum age, the check memory and the checkout guard.
Set personal data rules
Define minimization, retention periods, scheduled purge and the information notice for your legal framework.
Visitor enters the date
A protected page redirects to the gate. An adult goes back to the page and a minor sees the refusal.
