A 14-hour support pack counts for one unit in Planning. This link module makes Planning plan the allocated hours of the line: 3 packs, 42 hours to plan.
OVERVIEW
The hours sold, ready to be planned
Sales Planning (Odoo Enterprise) asks to plan the ordered quantity converted to hours: 3 packs of 14 hours give 3 hours to plan. Once Sale order task allocated time carries the hours per unit on the product, this module makes Planning ask for hours per unit x quantity: 42 hours, in the unscheduled slot created at confirmation.
Products without allocated hours, services invoiced by milestones and draft quotations keep the native Planning rule. The module installs itself when both applications are present and leaves nothing behind when uninstalled.

A confirmed line plans its hours per unit x quantity, not its bare quantity.
The unscheduled slot created on confirmation holds the 42 hours and follows quantity changes.
Products without hours, services by milestones and draft lines are left to Planning.
A quantity in days is converted to hours before the multiplication, as for the tasks.
Installed by itself when Sale order task allocated time and Sales Planning are both there.
Removing it restores the native hours to plan; nothing is left in the database.
How It Works
Three steps from the product to the slot to plan.
Fill in Allocated Hours on the product, as for the tasks, and give it a Planning role.
Planning computes the hours to plan of the line: hours per unit x quantity.
The unscheduled slot holds the allocated hours: assign and schedule it in Planning.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, as soon as Sale order task allocated time and Sales Planning are both installed. Without Sales Planning (Odoo Enterprise) there is nothing to link.
Planning keeps its native rule: the ordered quantity converted to hours.
This module targets Odoo 18.0 Enterprise, where Sales Planning is available.
